Evidence for the Involvement of Lipid Rafts and Plasma Membrane Sphingolipid Hydrolases in <i>Pseudomonas aeruginosa</i> Infection of Cystic Fibrosis Bronchial Epithelial Cells

<div>Effect of <i>P. aeruginosa</i> infection on the activity of total cell hydrolases of CuFi-1 cells. The measurements of the hydrolases activity were conducted on cell lysate by an in vitro enzymatic assay using artificial fluorigenic substrates. Before the assay, cells were infected or not for 4 hours with PAO1. The enzymatic activities are expressed as pmoles of product/mg of proteins per hour.</div>
