Overexpression of TREM2 in primary microglia attenuated LPS-induced elevation of TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1β (a, b, c) and increased IL-10 and Arg1 level with/without LPS (d, e). Microglia were treated with TREM2 lentivirus before LPS stimulation. The level of M1 and M2 phenotype of microglia was detected by RT-PCR ( versus control group, ^## versus LPS treatment group).
