MT-III-induced CD36 protein expression is dependent on PPAR-γ and PPAR-β/δ activation. Peritoneal macrophages were incubated with GW9662 (10 μM) or GSK0660 (10 μM) compounds or vehicle (<1% DMSO/RPMI) for 1 h and then with MT-III (0.4 μM) for 6 h.
