(a) Cells were seeded in Lab-Tek chamber slides, incubated for 3 days to form a confluent monolayer, and treated with 10 ng/ml IFNγ and 5 ng/ml TNFα for 48 h. Cells were then TUNEL stained to detect DNA fragmentation and stained with PI to detect nuclear condensation.
