Osthole inhibits inflammatory cell infiltration and cytokine secretion in ALI. ALI was induced as described (Materials and Methods). Briefly, C57BL/6 mice were pretreated for 30 min with 20 mg/kg or 40 mg/kg osthole via ip injection, followed by intratracheal injection of 5 mg/kg LPS, and lungs were sampled 6 h later for analyses.
