IFN Regulatory Factor 1 Mediates Macrophage Pyroptosis Induced by Oxidized Low-Density Lipoprotein in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome

<div>IRF-1 promotes caspase-1 activity in macrophages. Human macrophages were divided into four groups (group 1: cultured with PBS as a control group; group 2: transfected with pGC-FU-IRF-1, group 3: transfected with IRF-1 shRNA; and group 4: transfected with control shRNA) and then cultured with Dil-ox-LDL (50 <i>μ</i>g/ml) for 48 h.
