Curcumin suppressed airway mucus secretion in OVA-induced chronic asthma. (a) After 75 days of OVA sensitization and challenge, mice were sacrificed and their right lower lungs were fixed. Then, tissue sections were stained with periodic acid-Schiff (PAS) staining.
