Distinct Murine Pancreatic Transcriptomic Signatures during Chronic Pancreatitis Recovery

Cerulein-induced CP and the recovery mouse model. Adult C57BL/6 mice, both female and male, received cerulein injections (50 μg/kg, ip, 5 hourly injections/day, 3 days/week) for 4 weeks for CP injury, followed by cessation of cerulein injections for 4 weeks for recovery period (CPR). Time-matched control mice received normal saline injections (CON and CONR). Pancreatic tissue sections were prepared for H&E staining and scored for CP injury as described [10]. Representative images of female mice of CON, CP, CONR, and CPR are shown. Scale bar = 50 μm.
