Protein levels of (a) human Nrf-2, (b) human HO-1, (c) hepatic Nrf-2, and (d) hepatic HO-1 analyzed through ELISA. Probiotic V and Met alone or in combination helps in regulating the production of antioxidants in HepG2 cells and Wistar rats. Values are expressed as of three individual experiments (HepG2 cells) and six rats. Statistical significance was assessed by one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey post hoc test.
