Description
Knowledge and information update, processing and utilization of enterprises are faster because of the application of artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain and machine learning. The user computing management is becoming more intelligent and accurate based on big data analytics. Therefore, enterprises’ strategic decision-making is more flexible and innovation activities in different industries are stimulated. In addition, the interorganizational cooperation and the efficiency of supply chain management have been enhanced. In addition, user participation is more convenient and in-depth, which strongly facilitates the competitive advantages of enterprises in different industries. Clearly, digital information technology and computing are becoming more important than ever before.
However, there are also lots of challenges for the applications in different industries under this context. Enterprises are facing a high dynamic environment and fierce competition with the development of digital information technologies and computing. The technological uncertainty brought by digital information technologies and computing is increasing. Besides, scholars find that the risk of computing private and computing security is threatening the applications of these new technologies in different industries. Scholars have already realized the importance of information technology and computing for enterprises. However, the industrial applications of digital information technology and computing have not been clearly revealed. Some critical question needs to be further analyzed and clarified.
The aim of this Special Issue is to bring together original research articles and review articles talking about relevant recent developments in the field. Submissions focusing on the use of new theories, technologies, and methods are particularly encouraged.
