Data: Dispose of 𝜃_𝑖^𝑁_𝑖=1 from a given data set 𝜑_𝑖,𝑦_𝑖

Main steps:

(i) Compute 𝑃_𝑖 for every 𝜃_𝑖^𝑁_𝑖=1 according to (10)

(ii) Determine the filtered data points 𝜃_𝑖^𝑁′_𝑖=1,𝑁^′<𝑁

(iii) Compute the first cluster center 𝜃^∗₁ from (10)

repeat

 Compute the other cluster centers according to the updated potential formula (15)

until  obtaining 𝑠 clusters;

Result: Determination of the parameters 𝜃_𝑖^𝑠_𝑖=1
