Bar plots to show the distribution in the final optimal feature set for (a) the amino acid factor features, and (b) the corresponding specific site score. It can be seen from panel (a) that the secondary structure and codon diversity were the most important one for predicting the calpain cleavage sites. It can be seen from panel (b) that the residues at site 10, site 11, and site 21 played more roles in the calpain cleavage sites prediction.
