Performance comparison between equalization algorithms simulated for a 16QAM input source going through channel case 2. The averaged results were obtained in 100 Monte Carlo trials for SNR of 30 dB. The step-size parameters were set to 𝜇_𝐺=1×10⁻⁵, 𝜇_MaxEnt=2×10⁻⁴, and 𝛽_MaxEnt=2×10⁻⁶. For Edgeworth order 4 with nonoptimal Lagrange multipliers we used 𝑎_EE4=5, 𝜇_EE4=3×10⁻⁴, and 𝛽_EE4=2×10⁻⁶ and for Edgeworth order 6 with optimal Lagrange multipliers we used 𝑎_EE6=4.1, 𝑏_EE6=25, 𝜇_EE6=3.3×10⁻⁴, and 𝛽_EE6=2.1×10⁻⁶. In addition we set for MaxEnt, Edgeworth order 4, and Edgeworth order 6 𝜀=0.5.
