A Novel Local Human Visual Perceptual Texture Description with Key Feature Selection for Texture Classification

The process of our texture description method. Six texture characteristics: coarseness, contrast, directionality, line-likeness, regularity, and roughness are re-defined and extracted from the input image. Together with the PCA-orthogonality feature selection scheme, the most representative features are selected and used to describe the texture image.
