Intelligent Techniques for Simulation and Modelling

Description

Emerging and development of computational intelligence in the last 20 years have broadened the scope of simulation and modelling in many scientific and engineering disciplines. The International Conference on Information Technology, Computation and Applications (ICITCA2013), jointly organized by more than 20 institutions from Australia, USA, and China, will bring scientists and engineers from different disciplines together to discuss emerging issues, tackle complex problems, and share novel applications in computational science and engineering. High-quality papers on “Intelligent Techniques for Simulation and Modelling” selected from this event will have an opportunity to be published in Mathematical Problems in Engineering after two rounds of review. We invite authors to submit original research and novel application papers to this special issue firstly through the conference page on http://icitca2012.imau.edu.cn/index.htm. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Techniques of computational intelligence for simulation and modelling
  • Methods and applications of engineering and industry data mining
  • Techniques and applications for optimization in computing and engineering
  • Advanced and emerging applications in modelling and simulation

Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/mpe/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/mpe/itsm/ according to the following timetable:
