Anxious and Nonanxious Mice Show Similar Hippocampal Sensory Evoked Oscillations under Urethane Anesthesia: Difference in the Effect of Buspirone

Buspirone decreased anxiety of AX mice in the elevated plus maze. A nonsignificant increase in the time spent in the open arm (a) and a significant decrease in the time spent in the closed arm (b) were induced by buspirone. There was no effect of buspirone treatment on nAX mice neither in the time spent in the open (c) nor in the closed (d) arm. , -test.
