Comparison between DCN afferent sprouting and CTM neurogram responses at different spinal segmental levels after 6 weeks following T10 hemisection SCI. Changes in CTB+ A fiber and IB4+ C fiber projections from T7 and T13 DCNs were calculated relative to uninjured normal animals (axon areas in Figure 5). Changes from normal animals in early and late responses of CTM neurograms evoked by stimulations at different DCN levels (T6, T8, T12, and L1; left column in Figure 2) were averaged across both sides (left and right) and both stimulation frequencies (1 and 5 Hz).
