To illustrate the differential effects of various treatments on the cell cycle distribution and the sub-G0/G1 population, we present in Fig. S1 a set of representative DNA-content histograms obtained by flow cytometry after irradiation with 2 Gy of protons of Jurkat cells pre-incubated or not with 50 µM QC for 1 h, or after treatment with 50 µM QC for 1 h, with 250 µM MD for 20 min., or with 500 µM H2O2 for 20 min.
