Table S1: Body mass index (BMI) values, age and gender of octo/nonagenarian and offspring groups. The P-value refers to a two-tailed t-test for the differences in means between the BMI values in octo/nonagenarians vs. offspring. A total of four male and 14 female subjects were recruited in this study.

Table S2: A complete list of 812 genes which were differentially expressed with significant levels of P<0.05, Benjamini-Hochberg false discovery rate (FDR) adjustment and fold changes ≥1.2. The fold-change refers to the ratio of the expression values of octo/nonagenarians over offspring.
