Effect of steviol glycosides on cell viability/proliferation. SH-SY5Y (a) and HL-60 (b) cells were treated for 24 hours with different concentrations of the four compounds (0.1 mg/mL to 5 mg/mL). Viability/proliferation was evaluated by MTT assay as described in Section 2 and compared to control (C). Results are expressed as means ± SD of three independent experiments (). Statistical analysis was performed by Bonferroni multiple comparison test following one-way ANOVA. Significant differences were not revealed.
