50 Hz Electromagnetic Field Produced Changes in FTIR Spectroscopy Associated with Mitochondrial Transmembrane Potential Reduction in Neuronal-Like SH-SY5Y Cells

ATR spectra of neuroblastoma cells in the spectral IR region from 3300 to 2800 cm−1: (a) after 4 h of exposure to 50 Hz EMF at 50 μT; (b) after 4 h of exposure to 50 Hz EMF at 0.8 mT; (c) after 4 h of exposure to 50 Hz EMF at 1.4 mT. The increase in intensity of CH2 asymmetric and symmetric stretching appeared clearly after exposure to the magnetic flux densities of 0.8 mT and 1.4 mT.
