The activity of glutathione peroxidase (GPx) (U/mg protein) in lens of control and diabetic rats (DM) which received either vehicle or the combination extract of purple waxy corn and ginger (PWCG) at doses of 50, 100, and 200 mg⋅kg−1 BW for 10 weeks (/group). value < 0.001, compared with control, and, value < 0.05, 0.001 respectively, compared with diabetic rats which received vehicle (DM + vehicle).
