Inhibition of COX-2 activity reduced H/R-induced proinflammatory cytokines expression in H9C2 cardiomyocytes. mRNA expression of proinflammatory genes (IL1β, IL6, and TNFα) in H9C2 cardiomyocytes subjected to H/R stimulation in the presence or absence of NS398. mRNA levels are expressed against those in H9C2 cardiomyocytes with no stimulation.
