Thioredoxin Binding Protein-2 Regulates Autophagy of Human Lens Epithelial Cells under Oxidative Stress via Inhibition of Akt Phosphorylation

Oxidative stress decreased cell viability and triggered autophagy. (a) Twenty-four hours after the indicated dose of H2O2 treatment, CCK-8 assay revealed that cell viability loss was in a dose-dependent manner. (b) When cells were treated with 50 μM H2O2 for various time durations, cell viability loss presented a time-dependent manner. (c) With the time increased, oxidative treatment with 50 μM H2O2 induced LC3-II and p62 expression significantly. Data were presented as mean ± SEM of three independent experiments. .
