Antidiabetic and Antinephritic Activities of Aqueous Extract of Cordyceps militaris Fruit Body in Diet-Streptozotocin-Induced Diabetic Sprague Dawley Rats

Diet-STZ-induced diabetic rats were orally treated with or without Met and CM at indicated doses for four weeks. The levels of IL-2 (a), IL-6 (b), TNF-α (c), and 6-keto-PGF (d) in serum were detected via ELISA method and histopathological changes in kidney collected from all experimental rats were observed through H&E staining (, ×400) (e).
