Cytotoxicity and the cytoprotective effects of VCAF. The viability of HL-7702 cells and HepG2 cells was performed by a CCK-8 assay. (a) HL-7702 cells were treated with VCAF in different concentrations (20–200 μg/mL) for 24 and 48 hours. (b) HepG2 cells were pretreated for 2 h with the indicated concentrations of VCAF and then incubated for 2 h with t-BHP (5 mM). ## versus control; versus 5 mM t-BHP.
