Effect of edaravone-alteplase combination therapy in a rat model of thromboembolic clot-induced cerebral ischemia. (a) The experimental groups included the vehicle-injected control group, alteplase group, and edaravone-alteplase combination group ( per group). Rats were killed 24 hours after establishment of cerebral ischemia. (b) Representative figures of 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride-stained brain sections of rats.
