Chronic Variable Stress Is Responsible for Lipid and DNA Oxidative Disorders and Activation of Oxidative Stress Response Genes in the Brain of Rats

<div>The effect of chronic variable stress on GR activity in the prefrontal cortex of rats. The GR activity was measured by kinetic method based on the oxidation of NADPH to NADP<sup>+</sup> which is accompanied by a decrease in absorbance at 340 nm. Data is displayed as mean ± SEM and expressed as percentage of control group.
