Resveratrol Prevents ROS-Induced Apoptosis in High Glucose-Treated Retinal Capillary Endothelial Cells via the Activation of AMPK/Sirt1/PGC-1<i>α</i> Pathway

<div>RSV has no effect on the cell viability of BRECs. After BRECs were treated with different concentrations of RSV (1, 5, 10, and 20 <i>μ</i>M) for 24 h, cell viability was measured by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay. No significant cytotoxicity of RSV on BRECs was noted. Bars indicate the mean ± SEM of three independent experiments.</div>
