The cell viability and morphology in HL-7702 cells were detected after treatment with various concentrations of matrine. (a) Cell viability was assessed by the MTT assay. (b) HL-7702 cells were treated with matrine at a series of concentrations (0-4 mg/mL) for 48 h. The cell cytotoxicity was evaluated by the LDH assay. (c) The morphology changes of the HL-7702 cell nucleus were examined by DAPI staining and observed by fluorescence microscopy. The arrow markers represent the apoptotic cells.
