Effect of artemisinin and A. annua hydroalcoholic extract on D-17 cells. Dose-response curve: D-17 cell viability upon treatment with different concentrations of (a) pure artemisinin and (b) A. annua hydroalcoholic extract. For each treatment, the same concentration of the specific vehicle was used as the control, DMSO for artemisinin and a solution of 65% ethanol for hydroalcoholic extract.
