ROS Reduction Does Not Decrease the Anticancer Efficacy of X-Ray in Two Breast Cancer Cell Lines

1 T static magnetic field decreases the intracellular ROS level in multiple cell types. Cells were plated at 4 × 105/ml and treated with 1 T SMF for one day before they were harvested and measured for ROS levels. (a) Eight human cancer cell lines, (b) five human noncancer cell lines, (c) two rodent cancer cell lines and (d) two rodent noncancer cell lines were measured using the DCFH-DA probe. (e) Four cell lines were measured using Carboxy-H2DCFDA probe. Comparisons were made between the experimental group and the control group using a Student’s t-test. , ; ns: not significant.
