Tricetin Protects Rat Chondrocytes against IL-1<i>β</i>-Induced Inflammation and Apoptosis

<div>Effects of tricetin on Bcl-2 and Bax gene and protein expression, as determined by RT-PCR (a) and western blot (b). After the stimulation of rat chondrocytes with IL-1<i>β</i> alone, Bax gene and protein levels increased significantly, while Bcl-2 expression decreased. Tricetin significantly decreased Bax production and increased Bcl-2 expression in IL-1<i>β</i>-induced rat chondrocytes.
