Andrographolide Derivative AL-1 Ameliorates Dextran Sodium Sulfate-Induced Murine Colitis by Inhibiting NF-κB and MAPK Signaling Pathways

Figure 8

AL-1 attenuates NF-κB and MAPK activation and inhibits the nuclear translocation of NF-κB p65 in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells. RAW 264.7 cells were pretreated with the indicated concentration of AL-1 for 1 h and then stimulated with LPS (1 μg/mL) for 24 h. (a) Representative blots showing that AL-1 attenuated the expression of p-65 and p-IκBα, iNOS, COX-2, and TNF-α. (b) Representative blots showing that AL-1 attenuated the expression of p-p38, p-ERK, and p-JNK. (c) Representative photos showing that coincubation with LPS plus AL-1 inhibited the nuclear translocation of NF-κB p65 in LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells.
