Bucindolol Modulates Cardiac Remodeling by Attenuating Oxidative Stress in H9c2 Cardiac Cells Exposed to Norepinephrine

Lipid peroxidation measured by determination of relative protein levels of 4-hydroxynonenal (4-HNE) adducts in H9C2 cardiac cells incubated with norepinephrine (10 μM) for 24 h, followed by 8 h of bucindolol (10 μM) treatment. β-Actin was used for normalization. Values expressed as from 3-4 independent experiments. Two-way ANOVA followed by Tukey: A vs. Control Untreated (CTL), B vs. Norepinephrine Untreated (NE), + CTL and Control+Bucindolol (CTL+BCD) vs. NE and Norepinephrine+Bucindolol (NE+BCD).
