H<sub>2</sub>S Protects against Cardiac Cell Hypertrophy through Regulation of Selenoproteins

<div>The proposed mechanism underlying the protective effect of H<sub>2</sub>S/H<sub>2</sub>Se against cardiac hypertrophy. H<sub>2</sub>S would enhance SCLY/H<sub>2</sub>Se signaling and regulate selenoproteins, a group of antioxidant proteins, which then lead to reduced oxidative stress and cell hypertrophy.</div>
