Siramesine and lapatinib induce synergistic cell death. (a) A549 and U87 were treated for 24 hours with 0.5 μM lapatinib and 10 μM siramesine. Drug-drug interactions were assessed according to the combination index (CI) model. Isobolograms demonstrate the effects of the combination. (b) A549 and U87 were treated for 24 hours with DMSO (D), 0.5 μM lapatinib (L), 10 μM siramesine (S), or the combination of lapatinib+siramesine (L+S).
