Hyperglycemia-Induced Oxidative Stress Abrogates Remifentanil Preconditioning-Mediated Cardioprotection in Diabetic Rats by Impairing Caveolin-3-Modulated PI3K/Akt and JAK2/STAT3 Signaling

<div>Remifentanil preconditioning (RPC) attenuated myocardial I/R injury in control but not in diabetic rats. Control or streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats were subjected to sham operation, myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R), or RPC. Infarct size (a), plasma CK-MB (b), plasma 15-F2t-isoprostane (15-F2t-IsoP) (c), and cardiac 15-F2t-IsoP (d).
