Aβ_1-42 oligomers and H₂O₂ increase BACE1 transcription. Human neuroblastoma cells were treated with subtoxic concentrations of Aβ_1-42 oligomers (0.25 μM) or H₂O₂ (10 μM) for 24 h. BACE1 mRNAs were quantified by qPCR after (a) Aβ_1-42 oligomers or (b) H₂O₂ treatments.
