Methane Ameliorates Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Acute Orchitis by Anti-inflammatory, Antioxidative, and Antiapoptotic Effects via Regulation of the PK2/PKR1 Pathway

Methane had antiapoptotic effects on the testes of rats with LPS-induced acute orchitis. TUNEL assay was performed to detect the apoptosis of testes in the Control (a), MS (b), LPS (c), and MS-LPS (d) groups. Statistical analysis of TUNEL fluorescence was shown in (e). Nuclei were stained blue by DAPI, and apoptotic cells were stained with green. vs the Control group, # vs the MS group, and $ vs the LPS group.
