Kirenol Inhibits B[a]P-Induced Oxidative Stress and Apoptosis in Endothelial Cells via Modulation of the Nrf2 Signaling Pathway

Figure 5

KRL upregulates the Nrf2 signaling pathways. HUVECs cell was treated with B[a]P (5 μmol) and/or KRL (5, 10, and 25 μmol) for 24 hours; western blotting method was used to examine what kind of impact of dose concentration had on the expressions of total, cytoplasm, and nuclear Nrf2, NQO-1, and HO-1 and antioxidant genes. In the form of internal control, β-actin and lamin B1 were used. Data is represented as the of triplicate values (), and denotes noteworthy variations in comparison to the control. # represents remarkable discrepancies when compared with the B[a]P alone and KRL with the B[a]P treatment groups.
