Antioxidant and Anti-Inflammatory Profiles of Spent Coffee Ground Extracts for the Treatment of Neurodegeneration

<div>ROS levels of SH-SY5Y cells treated with the extracts and exposed to H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>. Cells were pretreated with 1–100 <i>μ</i>g mL<sup>−1</sup> of the different extracts for 24 h and then treated with H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>. The peroxide-sensitive probe DCFH-DA was used to measure ROS production. Data are expressed as percentage with respect to H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>-treated cells.
