Antioxidant and Anti-Inflammatory Profiles of Spent Coffee Ground Extracts for the Treatment of Neurodegeneration

<div>Effect of the extracts on the mRNA level of antioxidant enzymes in SH-SY5Y cells. Cells were treated with 50 <i>μ</i>g mL<sup>−1</sup> of each extract for 5 h. GR, HO1, NQO1, and TRX mRNA levels were determined by RT-PCR. Data are reported as relative abundance in respect to control cells (CTRL).
