Botanical Drug Puerarin Ameliorates Liposaccharide-Induced Depressive Behaviors in Mice via Inhibiting RagA/mTOR/p70S6K Pathways

Figure 2

Puerarin significantly affected 16 differentiated genes in LPS-challenged mice. (a) Heatmap of differentially expressed genes. The frontal cortex tissues were collected from 3 groups of mice (i.e., control, LPS, and LPS+puerarin (60 mg/kg), ) and profiled by next-generation RNA sequencing technology. The differentially expressed genes were identified by RNA sequencing and bioinformatics analysis. The heatmap of 16 differentially expressed genes was visualized with R language. (b) Interaction network of differentially expressed genes. The interaction network of 16 differentially expressed genes and 7 unchanged genes was generated by Cytoscape. The downregulated genes were described as green whereas the upregulated genes were described as red. (c) GO and KEGG pathway analysis of differentially expressed genes. Sixteen differentially expressed genes were analysed for GO and KEGG pathway by DAVID 6.8.
