α-Synuclein E46K Mutation and Involvement of Oxidative Stress in a Drosophila Model of Parkinson’s Disease

<div>SNCAE46K PD model flies are more sensitive to ethanol vapour. Ethanol exposure sensitivity 50% (ST50) (a) and recovery 50% (RC50) (b) values of SNCAE46K expressing transgenic flies were compared to the control genotype. The ST50 was 19.7 ± 2 min and 10 ± 1 min in the control genotype (UAS-SNCAE46K/+) and elav; SNCAE46K/+ flies, respectively.
