Panel (b) presents a nonsolid nodule of 20 mm in diameter in the right upper lobe in a 57-year-old man. The final diagnosis was lung adenocarcinoma. Panel (c) presents a solid nodule of 11 mm in diameter in the right upper lobe in a 72-year-old woman. The final diagnosis was small cell lung carcinoma. Panel (d) presents a nonsolid nodule of 14 mm in diameter in the left lower lobe in a 67-year-old woman. The final diagnosis was lung adenocarcinoma.
