E6-AP expression results in decreased mRNA
levels of PPAR target genes. FaO cells were transfected
with empty vector or plasmid expressing E6-AP, followed by treatment with 0.1%
DMSO or 50 M Wy-14,643 for 6 hours. Total RNA was isolated
from the cells and real-time PCR was performed on reverse transcribed RNA.
Asterisks indicate a significant difference when compared to the corresponding
control group. (* with statistical analysis using ANOVA). The graphs represent mean values
obtained from 2 independent experiments.
