Pro-inflammatory ATMs express both pro- and anti-inflammatory mediators as assessed by gene expression. Four cell populations were sorted from the SVF from mice (n3) fed an HF/CH diet for approximately 16-weeks. The pro-inflammatory ATMs (PI-ATM: CD45+F480+CD11c+), resident ATMs (R-ATM: CD45+F480+CD11c−), a CD45+ unknown population (A: CD45+F480−CD11c+), and a CD45− unknown population (B: CD45 Thy1.2+Ly6C+/−CD11b−) were sorted and analyzed for gene expression from two independent sorts.
