Lauenstein view and anteroposterior and radiographs (not shown) did not show an obvious fracture line or disruption of bony contours in the acetabulum or the right femoral neck. (b) Coronal short tau inversion recovery MRI shows heterogeneous hyperintensity in the same region (arrow) as well as hyperintensity within the gluteus medius and minimus muscles (arrowheads) consistent with tissue edema and hematoma.
