Stereoscopic left- and right-eye-image generated by the visualization tool; one can achieve the stereo effect by focusing beyond the image plane or with the help of a stereoscope, or by using a piece of cardboard put between the two images (as shown schematically in (b) the top-down view) such that each eye is able to see only one of the two images. Once the stereo effect is achieved, one can clearly appreciate the 3D effect of the headless arrows pointing out of the paper plane at various angles.
